Address: Taubenhausstasse 34, 6005 Luzern, Switzerland.

The Bed + Breakfast is situated just a 15-minute walk from the train station and the old town.

By foot: Exit the train station on the west side (Tourist Information) and follow the Zentralstrasse (along the rails) until Habsburgerstrasse (right hand side), go until the end, cross the big Obergrundstrasse and parallel to this Obergrundstrasse is already Taubenhausstrasse, turn left into Taubenhausstrasse. You’ll find the number 34 on the right hand side.

By bus: From the train station with bus no. 1 (from Bahnhof Square, on the UBS Bank / Post office side), direction Kriens-Obernau until bus stop "Eichhof", the 5th stop. On the right-hand side of the (closed) kiosk go five steps up and than turn right. You are already in the Taubenhausstrasse, there are 100 meters to go and you reach No. 34.

Before arrival we will send you a personal link with the guest card: free bus pass (valid for all persons indicated to us) & free wifi in the city. The free bus pass is valid on the day of arrival, during your stay and also on the day of departure.

By car: Exit "Luzern Kriens". Drive into Luzern, at the sign: "Eichhof / Steinhof" turn left (right after the beer brewery Eichhof) and than take a right (Taubenhausstrasse). You are now 100 meters from Taubenhausstrasse number 34 (left hand side) away.

There are public "blue zone" parking spaces behind our house in "Schlossweg". Day parking tickets, Zone B, (24 hrs.) can be purchased via parkingpay.ch. CHF 15. Sundays/holidays and at night (19.00-8.00 hrs) free of charge. If the reception is busy, we can also help you with this.

Isabelle

Enthused about traveling and foreign cultures, I decided to make an exchange year in Upland, California where I graduated from St. Lucis High School in 1995. After studies at the "academy of Tourism" in Lucerne and a two years assignment for Lucerne Tourism Board, I decided to turn my knowledge into reality and opend in 2002 „The Bed + Breakfast“ in my grandmather’s house. In the function as host, little gastronome, gardener, entrepreneur, accountant, marketing expert, all-rounder I feel very confortable.

Meanwhile I’m married and we have three cute girls.

Vera

In August 2018 I started my two-year training at the College of Higher Education in Tourism in Lucerne. In the month of May 2019 my journey starts in The Bed + Breakfast. This position ideally complements my tourism studies and enriches me through contact and exchange with people from different cultures.

I am ready for my new challenge and am looking forward to enabling a pleasant stay at The Bed + Breakfast, which has been designed with a lot of love for details.

Yvonne

Since May 2022 I am part of the B+B team. Looking after the guests and bringing them closer to "our" Lucerne gives me great pleasure. I find it very enriching to be in daily exchange with other cultures and to get to know them even more. Previously, I worked in the administrative field and studied tourism. In my free time, I like to be out in nature, do sports and of course travel.

Franziska

My enthusiasm for The Bed+Breakfast started when Isabelle supported me as a co-instructor for my diploma thesis at the tourism school. A few years later I was allowed to get my first taste of B&B air on a temporary basis, then I worked 50% full time and now I complete the team again on weekends.

Looking after guests, keeping the house in good shape, preparing breakfast, washing, cleaning, answering emails and never forgetting to make a small but perhaps valuable contribution to the most beautiful time of the year - the holidays - for our guests - this is exactly what I always enjoy doing!

Conni

Since 2019, I have been working a small part-time at the B+B and it is the perfect change and complement for me to my other activities in social work and as a mother. It makes me happy when I can contribute to people from all over the world having a quiet harbour during their stay at the B+B - and from there they can explore our beautiful city. What I love most is the cosy ambience in the house and the contagious holiday mood of our guests.

Lajde

I used to be here in the beginning and now I'm back and very happy to make the guests confortable. I clean like I do it at home!
